Jobs, Board Positions & Internships

Hope for a Child is a Guernsey-based charitable company that exists to enable children to thrive. We  work alongside communities in Malawi to help them tackle the biggest challenges facing children through social entrepreneurship.

We use business as a powerful tool for poverty alleviation. It is only when low income households can access essential products and services, employment and markets for their produce that inclusive development takes place.

Through social enterprises we supply drinking water, provide care and education to vulnerable children, market smallholder produce and give artisans access to European markets.

We also work with small NGOs to facilitate interventions in the areas of livelihoods, water and sanitation and primary education.

We raise funds in Guernsey to invest in these activities primarily through The Big Summer Lottery, The £5 Lottery Club and Hope Store.
