Hope for a Child is a charity based in Guernsey, with offices in the UK and Uganda. We are staffed by a talented and committed team mostly made up of volunteers.
Our Directors
Roy Herring is joint founder of Hope for a Child alongside his wife Sue. He provides vision and strategic direction. Roy works in business development in the IT industry at 2e2 Group. Roy and Sue have four children, James, Nik, Tom and Isobel.
Louise Smith manages Village Savings and Loans Schemes projects with our partners in Africa. She has worked in business in BT and Specsavers. Louise is married to Philip and they have a son Barnabas and a daughter Eden.
Nik Herring directs marketing, promotion, websites and all things creative. He is married to Sally and they have a rabbit called Ralph.
